Eric Rönnau is a 42-year-old author who grew up in northern Germany, spent many years in Berlin, and later moved to Spain. Since 2018, he has lived in Taiwan. Eric has always been a fan of fantasy literature, with influences ranging from Tolkien to C.S. Lewis, to the master of horror, Stephen King, and books like Percy Jackson. These influences inspired him to create the story of Alex and Taiwan’s mysterious spirit world.
The Spirit Book series is more than just a story; it weaves together personal biographies, Taiwanese traditions, folklore, and everyday events. In this series, Eric has created a parallel world in Taiwan where the realms of the living and the dead intersect.
